DETROIT, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Raffi Torres scored 1:51 into overtime Thursday night as Edmonton beat the Detroit Red Wings, 4-3.
Shawn Horcoff and Ryan Smyth each had a goal and an assist, Chris Pronger had two assists and goalie Jussi Markkanen made 35 saves for the Oilers (7-6-1), who have won four straight.

Edmonton was 1-for-4 on the power play.
Tomas Holmstrom scored two goals and Jason Williams had one goal and an assist for the Red Wings (12-2-1), who had a nine-game winning streak snapped.
Detroit, which out-shot the Oilers, 38-25, was 2-for-6 on the power play.
