NHL: Los Angeles 5, St. Louis 2

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Alexander Frolov had two goals and an assist Saturday night as the Los Angeles Kings beat St. Louis, 5-2.

Pavol Demitra scored twice and Craig Conroy had two assists for the Kings (8-4-0), winners of five of their last seven games. Jason LaBarbera made 29 saves. Los Angeles, which out-shot the Blues, 31-30, was 2-for-8 on the power play.

Petr Cajanek and Jay McClement both had goals, John Hoggan had one assist, and goaltender Reinhard Divis had 25 stops for St. Louis (2-7-0), which has lost five straight.

The Blues went 0-for-6 on the power play.
