ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Lucas Glover won the FUNAI Golf Classic at Walt Disney World Resort Sunday with a closing-round 7-under 65.
It was his first title on the PGA Tour. At 23-under-par 265, Glover finished one stroke ahead of Tom Pernice Jr., who shot a 3-under 69 Sunday.
To earn the title, Glover holed out from a greenside bunker for birdie on the 72nd hole.
Glover also captured one event on the Nationwide Tour. He earned $792,000 Sunday for his first PGA tour win.
The third and final rounds both were completed on Sunday because of weather delays on Saturday.
