COL FB: Georgia 23, Arkansas 20

ATHENS, Ga., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Joe Tereshinski passed for 91 yards Saturday in relief of the injured D.J. Shockley as 4th-ranked Georgia slipped past Arkansas, 23-20.

Before Shockley left the contest early in the second quarter with a knee injury, he was 6-of-10 passing for 74 yards and one touchdown. Tereshinski went 5-of-9 for 91 yards and one interception and Thomas Brown had only 36 yards on 12 carries, but Georgia remained unbeaten at 7-0 (5-0 SEC).

For the Razorbacks, who dropped to 2-5 (0-4 SEC) with the fifth loss in their last six games, freshman tailback Darren McFadden rushed for 190 yards on 31 carries and two touchdowns and quarterback Robert Johnson went 11-of-19 passing for 116 yards and one interception.

There was an indication after medical tests at halftime that Shockley could be lost for the season. He has thrown for 1,536 yards and 12 scores this season.
