NFL: Seattle 37, St. Louis 31

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Shaun Alexander ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns Sunday as Seattle beat the St. Louis Rams, 37-31.

Matt Hasselbeck went 27-of-38 for 316 yards and two touchdowns, Joe Jurevicius had nine receptions for 137 yards and one touchdown, and Alexander added three catches for 16 yards, as the Seahawks rose to 3-2 with their first win over the Rams since 2003.

For St. Louis (2-3), Marc Bulger was 26-of-40 for 336 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, Steven Jackson added 77 rushing yards on 17 carries and one touchdown, and Chris Johnson opened the contest with a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown -- the first by a Ram in five years.
