COL FB: Georgia 27, Tennessee 14

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Thomas Flowers' fourth quarter punt return for a touchdown Saturday boosted 4th-ranked Georgia over No. 7 Tennessee, 27-14.

D.J. Shockley went 16-of-27 passing for 207 yards and one interception. He added 51 rushing yards and Thomas Brown had 94 yards on 20 carries for the unbeaten Bulldogs (5-0, 3-0 SEC), which forged its first-ever three-game winning streak at Neyland Stadium.

Rick Clausen went 21-of-36 for 210 yards. He had one touchdown and one interception and also ran for a score for Tennessee (3-2, 2-2 SEC).

Gerald Riggs Jr. added 54 yards on 19 carries. Jayson Swain and Bret Smith both had 84 receiving yards.

Tennessee still leads the all-time series, 19-14-2.
