COL FB: N.C. State 17, Georgia Tech 14

ATLANTA, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Wide receiver Brian Clark had four receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns Thursday night as N.C. State dumped No. 23 Georgia Tech, 17-14.

Also for the Wolfpack (2-2, 1-2 ACC), Garland Heath intercepted a pass in the end zone with 26 seconds left to play, and quarterback Jay Davis went 18-of-25 passing for 230 yards. He threw two touchdown passes and two interceptions.

Reggie Ball was just 21-of-53 for 279 yards and one scoring pass. He had two interceptions and also rushed 12 times for 88 yards.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson made 10 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown for Georgia Tech (3-2, 1-2).

Travis Bell missed two key field goal attempts.
