SEATTLE, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- The Seattle SuperSonics have exercised fourth-year options on forward Nick Collison and point guard Luke Ridnour.
Neither player missed a regular season game last season. Collison averaged 5.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and shot 54 percent from the field, while Ridnour averaged 10 points and 5.9 assists, and his 88.3 percentage from the free throw line was sixth-best in the NBA.
"We're very excited about the futures of both these young men," said Sonics general manager Rick Sund. "For Nick and Luke, team success has always been their top priority and they continue to use their individual talents to make their teammates better."
Both players were selected by the Sonics in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft. Ridnour came from Oregon State, while Collison attended Kansas.
