Reggie Evans gets new contract with Sonics

SEATTLE, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Forward Reggie Evans of the Seattle SuperSonics has signed the team's one-year qualifying contract.

"We're thrilled to have one of the top rebounders in the NBA back in a Sonics uniform this season," said Seattle General Manager Rick Sund. "Reggie is a tenacious rebounder and he has always found a way to have an impact on the court. He's like a bulldog around the boards."
