OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson each rushed for a touchdown Sunday to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 23-17 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
Holmes and Johnson combined for 116 rushing yards. Trent Green was 18-of-28 for 237 yards for the Chiefs (2-0), who have won their last five games against Oakland.
Samie Parker caught three passes for 86 yards, and Eddie Kennison caught four for 52.
Randy Moss was outstanding in the loss as he caught five passes for 127 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown. The Raiders (0-2) had won their previous seven home openers.
Kerry Collins threw for 263 yards on 21-of-35 attempts with one TD, but couldn't get Oakland into the end zone on its final drive as his fourth down pass to Jerry Porter fell incomplete.
