NFL: Cleveland 26, Green Bay 24

GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Trent Dilfer threw for three touchdowns Sunday and spoiled Brett Favre's day of reaching another milestone as the Cleveland Browns beat the Packers, 26-24.

Dilfer completed 21 of 32 passes for 336 yards. Tight end Steve Heiden caught six passes for 104 yards and two TDs.

Favre completed 32 of 44 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns. He became the third quarterback in NFL history to pass for over 50,000 yards, joining Dan Marino (61,361) and John Elway (51,475).

Favre also set the NFL record for most touchdown passes thrown at a single stadium. He has thrown 181 touchdown passes at Lambeau Field, surpassing the mark held by Elway (180) at Denver's Mile High Stadium.

Donald Driver caught six passes for 105 yards and a TD for the Packers (0-2), who have lost their first two games of the season for the first time since 2000.
