FARMINGTON, Pa., Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Jason Gore birdied all the par-5s Saturday while posting a 5-under 67, to take a two-shot lead heading into the final round at the PGA 84 Lumber Classic.
Gore, who moved up from the Nationwide Tour last month, is at 12-under 204 through 54 holes.
Gore had six birdies and an eagle in his third round to make up for a trio of bogeys. He started Saturday in a tie for seventh place.
Craig Barlow was also at 12-under when Gore reached the clubhouse, but he and playing partner Chris Smith had trouble at the par-5 16th where both took a double-bogey. Barlow finished in a tie for second place after shooting a 70.
