MLB: Baltimore 6, Seattle 3

SEATTLE, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Bernie Castro and Melvin Mora each drove in two runs Sunday as the Baltimore Orioles used a five-run second inning to beat the Seattle Mariners, 6-3.

Bruce Chen (12-9) earned the win, allowing five hits with three unearned runs and five strikeouts through six innings. Chen has given up just two earned runs over his last 20 innings.

Three Orioles' relievers -- Tim Byrdak, Todd Williams and B.J. Ryan -- shut out the Mariners the rest of the way and together gave up just two hits, with Ryan getting his 31st save of the season.

Felix Hernandez (3-3) suffered the loss, allowing six earned runs over seven innings. The right-hander still owns a 2.33 ERA.
