MLB: Baltimore 5, Seattle 3

SEATTLE, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- The Baltimore Orioles took a 5-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners, riding on a 2-run homer from Melvin Mora, who finished with three RBI.

Brian Roberts went 3-for-5 and scored three times, and Miguel Tejada had three hits with an RBI.

For Seattle, Richie Sexson belted a three-run homer in the eighth inning off Chris Ray, but B.J. Ryan managed to record the last four outs for his 30th save.

Ichiro Suzuki had his first four-hit game of the season for the Mariners.

Rodrigo Lopez (14-9) allowed seven hits and two runs over 7 1/3 innings to get the win, while Jeff Harris (2-3) lasted five innings in the loss for the Mariners.

Seattle's Mike Hargrove was ejected in the first inning for arguing a call at second base as Ichiro Suzuki was called out on a steal attempt.
