COL FB: Georgia 48, Boise State 13

ATHENS, Ga., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- D.J. Shockley threw for 289 yards and passed or ran for six touchdowns Saturday when the 13th ranked Georgia Bulldogs beat No. 18 Boise State, 48-13.

Shockley threw five TD passes and ran 85 yards for another TD.

The Bulldog defense forced six turnovers as Georgia built a 38-0 lead.

Martrez Milner caught three passes for 111 yards and Sean Bailey caught two TD passes as Georgia's first 24 points all came off of Boise State turnovers.

Lee Marks and Antwaun Carter had the only touchdowns for the Broncos. Boise State quarterback Jared Zabransky ended the first half with four interceptions and two fumbles and didn't play in the second half.
