MLB: Cincinnati 6, Pittsburgh 1

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Ken Griffey Jr. hit two home runs Friday night to lead the Cincinnati Reds to a 6-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Griffey has a 12-game hit streak.

Winning pitcher Aaron Harang, who rose to 9-11, also knocked in a run, and Adam Dunn added a two-run homer for the Reds, who have won six of eight.

Harang gave up only one run on eight hits in seven innings, walking one and fanning five.

Loser Mark Redman sank to 5-14.

Ty Wigginton had one hit and one RBI for the Pirates, who have lost three straight and eight of their last 11 games.
