UNCASVILLE, Conn., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored 24 points and added 11 rebounds Thursday night as Connecticut rolled past Charlotte, 84-70.
It was the Sun's sixth win in a row.

Lindsay Whalen scored a game-high 28 points for Connecticut, which rose to 24-6 overall. It is 9-1 in its last 10 games.
The hapless Sting, who have lost four straight, sank to 4-26 overall. Charlotte is 1-9 in its last 10 games.
Tangela Smith scored a team-high 15 points, and Sheri Sam and Tammy Sutton-Brown had 10 points each.
