CLEVELAND, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Ben Broussard's leadoff home run in the bottom of the 10th inning Friday night gave Cleveland a 5-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Aaron Boone hit a solo home run and Casey Blake added a three-run homer for the Indians, who have won two in a row and three of their last four to remain in the thick of the American League wild-card race.
In relief, Fernando Cabrera (1-0) picked up his first victory after hurling 2 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
Loser Steve Kline fell to 2-4. The Orioles had their three-game winning streak broken.
