CLEVELAND, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta had three hits and three RBI Thursday afternoon boosting the as Cleveland Indians to a 9-4 victory over the Texas Rangers.
One of Peralta's hits was a two-run home run. Coco Crisp added three hits and two RBI and Travis Hafner also drove two runs for the Indians.
Winning pitcher Jake Westbrook improved to 11-13. In six innings, he gave up four runs and 10 hits with one walk and one strikeout.
Loser C.J. Wilson sank to 0-6. He was tagged for five runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings with one walk and one strikeout.
Mark Teixeira had two RBI for the Rangers, who are 1-9 in their last 10 games. Every Rangers' starter, except for Adrian Gonzalez, had at least one hit.
Westbrook is 5-1 in his past six outings, while Wilson still has not gotten his first major league victory.
