WNBA: New York 82, Charlotte 74 (2OT)

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Shameka Christon scored seven points in double overtime Friday night and finished with 18 overall as New York topped the Charlotte Sting, 82-74.

Elena Baranova also scored 18 and Vickie Johnson had a team-high 20 points as the Liberty came back from an 18-point first half deficit to improve to 15-13 with their second win in a row.

Tammy Sutton-Brown had 15 points for the Sting, who have lost 12 of their last 13 contests and sunk to 4-24 overall with their second straight setback.
