MLB: Tampa Bay 8, Cleveland 6

CLEVELAND, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Travis Lee and Jorge Cantu each homered as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays beat Cleveland, 8-6.

Tampa Bay scored 6 runs in the second inning on their way to ending snap a four-game skid. Cantu had three RBI and Lee scored twice, and both went 3-for-5.

Winner Mark Hendrickson improved to 7-7. He gave up 12 hits and four runs in 5 1/3 innings with three walks and three strikeouts.

Loser Jake Westbrook dropped to 10-13. He was tagged for eight runs and eight hits over four innings, walking two and fanning one.

Fernando Cabrera and David Riske combined for five scoreless innings of three-hit relief for Cleveland, which saw a six-game winning snapped.

Grady Sizemore, Jhonny Peralta and Ronnie Belliard had three hits each for Cleveland, which produced a season-high seven doubles but stranded 11 base runners, including nine in scoring position.
