NEW YORK, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Ann Wauters scored 18 points and four other New York players ended in double figures Saturday night as New York beat Seattle, 79-67.
Becky Hammon added 16 points and Elena Baranova had 14 and nine rebounds for the Liberty, who had lost 3 of 4 coming in.

Lauren Jackson scored a game-high 25 points and Sue Bird added 12 points and 10 assists for Seattle.
It was the Storm's second straight loss following a four-game winning streak.
New York rose to 13-12. Seattle dropped to 14-12.
