SEATTLE, July 31 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta had four RBI Sunday as Cleveland topped the Seattle Mariners, 9-7.
Casey Blake, who homered, Grady Sizemore, Coco Crisp and Ben Broussard scored two runs each for the Indians, who have won six of nine. Blake and Victor Martinez each doubled and had two hits.
Winner Jake Westbrook (9-12) yielded seven runs and 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings with three walks and two strikeouts. Bob Wickman notched his 27th save with a scoreless ninth inning.
Raul Ibanez had three hits, two RBI and scored three runs. Jeremy Reed, Richie Sexson, Adrian Beltre and Yuniesky Betancourt had two hits each for the Mariners, who have dropped six of their last nine.
Losing pitcher Joel Pineiro fell to 3-7. He surrendered seven runs and eight hits over five innings with three walks and two strikeouts.
