DETROIT, July 24 (UPI) -- Curtis Granderson homered and drove in two runs Sunday as the Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins, 5-2.
Magglio Ordonez had three hits and one RBI, Carlos Guillen hit a solo homer and Chris Shelton was 3-for-5 with two runs scored for the Tigers, winners of three of their last four games.

Winning pitcher Jeremy Bonderman raised his mark to 13-6. He surrendered two runs and seven hits in eight innings with two walks and six strikeouts.
Joe Mauer homered and Shannon Stewart knocked in a run for Minnesota.
Loser Kyle Lohse (7-9) gave up five runs and 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked three and fanned two.
The two teams split a double-header on Saturday.
