MLB: Cleveland 4, Seattle 3

CLEVELAND, July 23 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta and Jason Dubois homered, leading the Cleveland Indians past the Seattle Mariners 4-3 Saturday at Jacobs Field.

Cliff Lee (11-4) gave up three runs on eight hits over 7 1/3 innings, with five strikeouts and one walk. Bob Wickman gave up two hits in the ninth but held on for his 24th save.

Peralta, Coco Crisp and Ronnie Belliard all had two hits for the Indians.

Gil Meche (10-7) surrendered four runs on nine hits over seven innings, with six strikeouts and one walk.

The Mariners have lost four of their last five games.

Mike Morse paced the Mariners with three hits. Ichiro Suzuki and Randy Winn had two hits apiece, and Suzuki scored a pair of runs.

Seattle's Willie Bloomquist extended his career-high hitting streak to 12 games.
