MLB: Florida 9, Arizona 2

PHOENIX, July 21 (UPI) -- Two two-run homers from Carlos Delgado and Juan Encarnacion in the sixth inning led the Florida Marlins to a 9-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Encarnacion finished with three hits and three RBI, while Brian Moehler pitched seven innings to win his fourth consecutive start. Moehler (6-6) was charged with 10 hits and two runs with no walks and five strikeouts.

Royce Clayton had three hits for the Diamondbacks, who have dropped four of their last six.

Brandon Webb (8-7) lost his fourth straight decision, allowing 10 hits and a season-high eight runs in 5 1/3 innings.

The Marlins have beaten the Diamondbacks in 10 of their last 14 meetings.
