MLB: Chi. White Sox 7, Cleveland 5

CLEVELAND, July 16 (UPI) -- Aaron Rowand had three hits and three runs scored Saturday as the Chicago White Sox topped the Cleveland Indians, 7-5.

Winning pitcher Mark Buehrle improved to 11-3, allowing two runs and three hits over seven innings with no walks and six strikeouts. He had dropped his last two starts.

Loser Jake Westbrook sank to 6-12. He was tagged for six runs and seven hits over five innings with one walk and three strikeouts.

Aaron Boone and Grady Sizemore each had two RBI for the Indians, who have lost four in a row. The White Sox have won three straight.

A.J. Pierzynski added an RBI double for the White Sox. The contest was delayed 30 minutes by rain in the top of the ninth inning.

The White Sox now are 5-1 at Cleveland this season.
