Moodie leads at Halifax

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, July 15 (UPI) -- Janice Moodie shot a 3-under 69 Friday to hold on to a two-shot lead after two rounds of the BMO Canadian Women's Open.

Moodie stands at 9-under-par 135 through 36 holes.

Il Mi Chung jumped to second place at 7-under-par 137 after a 4-under 68 Friday. Young-A Yang and Angela Stanford were one stroke further back at 6-under 138.

Kim Saiki (68) shares fifth with Christina Kim (69) at 5-under 139.

Nancy Scranton posted a 4-under 68 in the second round. She is tied for seventh at 4-under-par 140 with Dorothy Delasin (69) and Johanna Head (71).

Mikaela Parmlid, Meena Lee and Emily Bastel were one stroke further back at minus-3 141.

The cut line fell at three-over-par 147 with 71 players moving on to the final two rounds.
