WNBA: Washington 65, Charlotte 50

WASHINGTON, June 30 (UPI) -- Alana Beard and Temeka Johnson each scored 14 points Thursday night as Washington dumped Charlotte, 65-50.

Delisha Milton added 11 points to go along with six rebounds for the Mystics, who topped the Sting for the second time in three nights.

Tangela Smith had 21 points for Charlotte, which has dropped two straight WNBA contests and eight of nine. Tammy Sutton-Brown added 15 points for the Sting.

The Mystics rebounded from a double digit first half deficit to win.
