MLB: N.Y. Mets 6, N.Y. Yankees 4

NEW YORK, June 24 (UPI) -- Cliff Floyd and Carlos Beltran each homered and Jose Reyes knocked in two runs Friday night as the New York Mets beat the New York Yankees, 6-4.

Winning pitcher Pedro Martinez improved to 8-2. He gave up six hits and two runs over eight innings with two walks and three strikeouts.

Loser Mike Mussina (8-5) yielded six hits and five runs in six innings with one walk and four strikeouts.

Derek Jeter went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, Alex Rodriguez had three hits, including an RBI single, and Tino Martinez added a two-run shot for the Yankees, who have lost three straight and four of five after winning six in a row.
