MLB: Minnesota 5, San Diego 4 (11 inn.)

MINNEAPOLIS, June 17 (UPI) -- Glenn Williams drove in the first run of his career in his only at-bat, in the 11th inning Friday to give the Minnesota Twins a 5-4 victory over San Diego.

Michael Cuddyer homered and Justin Morneau drove in the tying run in the eighth for the Twins, who won for just the second time in five games.

Winning pitcher Juan Rincon raised his record to 4-2. Loser Dennys Reyes fell to 3-1.

Robert Fick and Brian Giles each drove in a run and scored once for the Padres, who have lost five in a row.
