MLB: Cleveland 3, Arizona 1

CLEVELAND, June 18 (UPI) -- Grady Sizemore singled home the go-ahead run Saturday night as the Cleveland Indians won their eighth straight game, beating Arizona, 3-1.

Travis Hafner added a solo homer and Coco Crisp had an RBI for the Indians, who have their longest winning streak since capturing 10 in a row from April 3-13, 2002.

Winning pitcher Scott Elarton won his fourth in a row, raising his record to 4-2. He allowed one run and six hits over 6 1/3 innings with two walks and three strikeouts.

Loser Brandon Webb went the distance but fell to 7-3. In the first complete game of his career, Webb allowed three runs and five hits, striking out six and walking three in eight innings.

Tony Clark drove in the lone run for Arizona, which has lost three straight and five of seven.
