MLB: Seattle 5, Philadelphia 1

SEATTLE, June 16 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki, Randy Winn and Mike Morse belted homers to lift the Seattle Mariners past the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-1, at Safeco Field.

Aaron Sele (6-5) threw six innings and picked up the win after surrendering just one run and eight hits. He struck out three batters and walked two en route to his fourth win in five starts.

It was Morse's first career home run.

Bobby Abreu went 3-for-4 and drove in the lone run for the Phillies, while Chase Utley added a pair of hits in the loss.

Vicente Padilla (3-6) took the loss by yielding three runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings of inter-league play. He has allowed seven home runs in his last four starts.
