DENVER, June 10 (UPI) -- Jamey Wright, Jay Witasick and Brian Fuentes combined on a rare Coors Field shutout Friday as Colorado blanked Detroit, 2-0.
It equaled the lowest-scoring game in the 10-year history of the stadium. Wright (4-5) worked 7 1/3 innings as the Rockies recorded their first shutout in more than two years.

Garrett Atkins accounted for both runs with a homer in the sixth. The blast came off Mike Maroth (4-7), who lost his fifth straight decision.
In a stadium where lengthy games are the norm, Friday's contest took just two hours, 21 minutes to play after it was delayed by rain at the start for 56 minutes.
