LONDON, June 9 (UPI) -- Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt and Tim Henman all reached the quarterfinals Thursday at the Stella Artois Championships.
Hewitt, seeded No. 1 at this Wimbledon tune-up, fought his way past Max Mirnyi, 6-3, 1-6, 6-1. Hewitt has won this event three of the past five years. He is competing for the first time in three months after being sidelined by foot and rib injuries.
Hewitt will play Ivo Karlovic in the quarterfinals.
Roddick was a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 winner over Karol Beck while Henman outlasted Chris Guccione, 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 6-2.
