MINNEAPOLIS, June 2 (UPI) -- Jacque Jones hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 13th inning Thursday to give the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 victory over the Cleveland Indians.
The Twins have won five of their last seven games. Winner J.C. Romero (1-2) retired the Indians in order in the top of the 13th.

Nick Punto had a two-run homer for the Twins, who also got two hits each from Shannon Stewart and Torii Hunter. Losing pitcher Rafael Betancourt fell to 1-2.
Victor Martinez and Coco Crisp hit home runs for Cleveland, which has dropped two straight after a four-game winning streak.
