MLB: Oakland 10, Tampa Bay 1

OAKLAND, Calif., June 1 (UPI) -- Dan Haren pitched his first career complete game to sweep the Oakland Athletics past the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 10-1.

Breaking a six-game losing streak, Haren (2-7) allowed a run on five hits, and struck out five without walking a batter to pick up his first home win.

Nick Swisher had two hits and four RBI, Jason Kendall added two hits and an RBI and Mark Kotsay knocked in a pair for the A's.

Jorge Cantu had two of the five hits for Tampa Bay, which has lost four in a row. The Devil Rays slipped to an American League-worst 3-20 on the road this season.

Hideo Nomo (3-5), who was attempting to win the 200th game of his pro career, was saddled with the loss, as he allowed six runs on seven hits in four innings. He also walked six batters and fanned two.
