Angel Cabrera wins BMW Championship

SURREY, England, May 29 (UPI) -- Angel Cabrera shot a 5-under 67 Sunday for a 15-under 273 and a two-stroke victory at the BMW Championship, his third career victory on the European Tour.

Paul McGinley also had a closing 67 and finished second at 13-under 275. Nick O'Hern shot a 64 to finish third at 277.

Cabrera, of Argentina, was runner up at this event in 2001 and 2004. He began Sunday's final round tied for the lead with Peter Hedblom who shot 74.

David Howell had a 71 to take fourth place at 279. Hedblom finished at 280 with Marten Olander and Peter Hanson.

Michael Campbell had a birdie and an eagle on his last two holes for a 71-281 and a tie with Jamie Donaldson. Bradley Dredge (70) was at 282.

Defending champion Scott Drummond had a 68 and a tie with Colin Montgomerie, Padraig Harrington, Thongchai Jaidee, Steve Webster and Gary Murphy at 283.
