Tri-leaders at rain delayed Senior PGA

LIGONIER, Pa., May 28 (UPI) -- Jerry Pate, Mike Reid and Dana Quigley shared the lead at 5-under Saturday when the third round of the Senior PGA Championship was suspended by rain.

There was a weather stoppage early in Saturday's third round that lasted almost two hours. More inclement weather in the area at 5:30 p.m. caused officials to stop play again. Play was suspended an hour later and the 33 players who did not complete their third round will return at 8:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

Dave Barr is alone in fourth at minus-four. Ray Floyd and reigning U.S. Senior Open champion Peter Jacobsen are tied for fifth at 3-under.
