DENVER, May 19 (UPI) -- Jeff Francis gave up a run on seven hits over six innings Thursday to give Colorado a 3-1 victory over San Francisco.
It was the third straight victory for Francis (4-1), who has won all five of his career decisions at Coors Field. Brian Fuentes worked the ninth for his first save.

Luis Gonzalez and Garrett Atkins had solo homers.
The loss went to Brett Tomko (3-6), who surrendered two runs on five hits in five innings. San Francisco's lone run came on Lance Niekro's homer. The Giants have lost four out of five.
