DENVER, May 13 (UPI) -- Clint Barmes hit two homers Friday night and had a career-best five RBI as Colorado smashed Arizona, 18-3.
The Rockies pounded out 19 hits, one of them a three-run homer by Barmes. Mike Holliday went four for five with two RBI.

Jeff Francis (3-1) gave up three runs over five innings and benefited from the 19-hit attack to get the win. Arizona had a three-game winning streak halted.
Arizona starter Brad Halsey (2-2) allowed eight runs on eight hits in 4 2/3. Halsey was not around, however, for Colorado's nine-run seventh.
