CINCINNATI, May 10 (UPI) -- San Diego's Dave Roberts singled in Xavier Nady in the 13th inning Monday for a 6-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Nady began the inning with a double and, after two outs, Roberts scored him with a drive to center field. The Padres had trailed 5-1 but caught up in the ninth on a homer by Ryan Klesko and three-run double by Robert Fick.

Joe Randa hit a two-run double and Rich Aurilia, Ken Griffey Jr. and Sean Casey also drove in runs for the Reds.
Chris Hammond (4-0) was the winner and Trevor Hoffman notched his ninth save and 402nd of his career. Matt Belisle (1-4) took the loss.
