MLB: Texas 6, Oakland 1

OAKLAND, Calif., May 4 (UPI) -- Rod Barajas and Alfonso Soriano each drove in two runs for Texas Tuesday in a 6-1 win over the Oakland Athletics.

Barajas got his RBI with a double and sacrifice fly and Soriano hit a two-run single. Erubiel Durazo homered for Oakland.

Chris Young (3-2) shut out Oakland for 5 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits, and got the win.

Kirk Saarloos (1-2), the Oakland starter, pitched no-hit ball through four innings but ended up taking the loss.
