MLB: NY Yankees 4, Toronto 3

NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) -- Tony Womack drove in the winning run with a one-out single in the bottom of the ninth Saturday to give the New York Yankees a 4-3 win over Toronto.

Alex Rodriguez homered for the Yankees, who stopped a three-game losing streak.

Starting Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang retired the first 10 batters he faced. He allowed two runs on six hits with a pair of walks but did not getr the decision.

Toronto's Corey Koskie homered off Tom Gordon in the eighth to tie it.

Rodriguez led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk from Vinny Chulk (0-1). Andy Phillips bunted into a fielder's choice, Tino Martinez grounded a single into right field, and Jorge Posada was walked intentionally to load the bases.

Womack then hit his single into right field.
