AUSTIN, Texas, April 30 (UPI) -- Wayne Levi shot a 5-under 67 Saturday to move into tie with Jim Thorpe, at 138, for the lead after two rounds of the seniors FedEx Kinko's Classic.
Bruce Fleisher had a 70 and is one shot off the lead at 5- under 139.
Dana Quigley held the lead late in the second round, but a double-bogey No. 17 dropped him into a tie for fourth with Mark James and Brad Bryant at 140.
"I always like to be up near the lead but tomorrow's a new day," said Levi, who goes after his third Champions Tour victory on Sunday. "I think lots of pars and sprinkle in some birdies will be good enough."
First-round leader Curtis Strange shot 74 Saturday to tie Mark Johnson for seventh at 141. Morris Hatalsky and Hajime Meshiai were at 142.
