MLB: San Diego 5, San Francisco 2

SAN DIEGO, April 20 (UPI) -- Geoff Blum and Ramon Hernandez each drove in two runs for San Diego Tuesday in a 5-2 win over the San Francisco Giants.

A double by Blum sent the Padres ahead to stay at 3-2 in the fourth inning and Hernandez drove in a run to end the scoring in the fifth.The Giants, who have lost three of their last four games, got one RBI each from Edgar Alfonzo and Michael Tucker.

Brian Lawrence (1-2) pitched eight innings for the Padres, allowing two runs and six hits.

The losing pither was Jerome Williams (0-1), who gave up four runs and six hits in four innings.
