NBA: Phoenix 116, Sacramento 98

PHOENIX, April 17 (UPI) -- The Phoenix Suns recorded a lopsided 116-98 victory over the Sacramento Kings at America West Arena in Phoenix Saturday night.

Amare Stoudemire scored 38 points and had nine rebounds, while Joe Johnson got 22 points, Shawn Marion contributed 17 points and Leandro Barbosa netted 17 points off the bench for the Suns.

Eddie House scored 17 points, while Mike Bibby contributed 16 points for the Kings.

Phoenix held a 32-26 lead after one period, but in the second period, Sacramento had a 42-41 advantage. However, the Suns got the lead back 62-52 at intermission and then gained a 27-point advantage during the third quarter and never looked back.
