LOS ANGELES, April 17 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers notched an 8-3 victory over the San Diego Padres in the middle contest of a three-game series at Chavez Ravine Saturday night.
Jason Phillips finished 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and Ricky Ledee got a solo homer for the Dodgers. Milton Bradley and Jason Grabowski added RBI singles for the Dodgers.

Scott Erickson (1-0) picked up the win after allowing two runs and four hits in six innings.
Ryan Klesko went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Phil Nevin drove in a pair of runs for the Padres.
Adam Eaton (1-1) recorded his first-ever loss at Dodger Stadium, after getting pounded for five runs -- three earned -- in six innings.
