MLB: Seattle 5, Minnesota 1

SEATTLE, April 4 (UPI) -- Richie Sexson homered in his first two times at the plate Monday, boosting Seattle to a 5-1 victory over Minnesota.

Sexson left Arizona to sign a four-year, $50 million contract and he paid instant dividends. He drove in five runs while going two for three.

Jamie Moyer earned the victory by allowing an unearned run on five hits over 5 2/3 innings.

The game marked the debut as Seattle manager for Mike Hargrove.

Minnesota's Brad Radke gave up five runs on five hits in seven innings.
