Rain postpones Saturday's Busch race

BRISTOL, Tenn., April 2 (UPI) -- An all-day rain storm forced the postponment of Saturday's Busch Sharpie Professional 250 at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

The cars never started. They will wait until Monday at 10:45 a.m. to begin the race.

Series points leader Carl Edwards has the pole position and Jeff Burton will join him on the front row.

Clint Bowyer and defending Busch Series champion Martin Truex Jr. will start in row two.

The forecast for Sunday's NASCAR Nextel Cup race is partly cloudy and windy with temperatures in the high 50s.
